What’s the Better Holiday, Halloween or Christmas?

Many people prefer christmas, while many prefer halloween, but the question is which is the better holiday? Many people have different opinions about which is better, so in this article, we will show and tell you which is the better holiday!
Halloween
Halloween is a holiday you should probably already know about, kids go around town to town, knocking on peoples doors asking for candy. Many people today host parties at one house and hang out there. Halloween originated over 2,000 years ago, with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, that celebrated the end of the harvest season and the blurring of the worlds of the living and the dead. Halloween decorations are usually scary, and many people go all out with costumes, dressing up as their favorite character from a show, video game, book, and more! After halloween, some kids trade the mountain of candy that they gathered with all of their friends, other people may eat the candy the second they get it! Halloween is a big holiday overall and brings lots of fun upon people, as well as lots of sweets!
Christmas
Christmas is a holiday that everybody loves, many people know about Christmas and what people do to celebrate. People set up a tree inside of their house and decorate it with all sorts of crafts and colored lights! Some people also hang up stockings over their fireplace so that Santa can store presents inside and underneath the Christmas tree. During Christmas morning, kids open up the presents Santa left them and get all sorts of gifts and toys! People also go to parties and go caroling to different houses near their block, having lots of fun and enjoying the day! Christmas originated as a Christian holiday celebrating the birth of Jesus, with the first recorded celebration on December 25, 336 CE in the Roman Empire. The date was chosen by church officials, possibly to coincide with or replace existing pagan winter festivals like the Roman holiday of Saturnalia and the celebration of the sun god Sol Invictus. Over centuries, traditions from these pagan holidays.
