Interstellar
One of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time, a cult classic for space nerds. This movie combines emotional, dramatic, and suspenseful scenes to always keep viewers on their toes. The music for this movie is a certified banger, with insanely beautiful songs to reflect parts of the movie. The movie can really bring out the sad side of people who watch it. With stunning visuals and great story, it is a must watch for any sci-fi fan.
Oppenheimer
Based on the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, who helped develop and test the Manhattan project which was used to test atomic bombs during World War 2. This historical movie is a must watch for history fans. Even for those who aren’t, this is still an incredible watch. The stunning visuals mixed with the absolutely fantastic ending, this movie is one of the best. Christopher Nolan directed this as he made other incredible movies like Interstellar, Inception, The Dark Knight, and The Prestige.
Shrek
Okay you all saw it coming, of course Shrek is on here! It’s just an incredible movie for its time. The plot is hilarious, interesting, and surprisingly gripping. Directed by Andrew Adamson, a New Zealand director who has made movies such as The Chronicles of Narnia, The Incredibles, and Angeles in the Outfield. Together with the absolute meme-ability of the movie, it is an absolute must for comedy enjoyers.
Emperor’s New Groove
One of the older Disney movies on here, it’s an oldie but a goodie. The plot and jokes are incredibly funny and it has lots of memorable moments to make you and your family laugh. Directed by Mark Dindal, who has made movies like Kronk’s New Groove, Hercules, Atlantis: The Lost Empire. This is an incredible comedy movie to watch with your family.
