What is 6-7? And what is Brainrot?
By Emily Jacobs
Gen Alpha terms are words that we have been using for YEARS. In this article we are confusing teachers by asking them what they think about some of the words we’ve been using and they have been hearing recently
What is brainrot?
Italian Brainrot are memes of ai generated images and videos of animal and object hybrids. These brainrots have italian names like “Ballerina Cappuccina” which is a human body wearing a ballerina outfit and her head is a cappuccino that has a human-like face. Another example is an Italian brainrot called “tralerotralala” which is a shark with shoes.
6-7
Additionally, kids have been using the term 6-7. This term came from a song where the chorus of the song was “6-7.” This term doesn’t actually mean anything, every time kids hear the number 6, or 7 they just intentionally say “6-7.”
Let’s see what some of our favorite staff members think about what these words mean.
