Guide To YOUR Summer 2024 Playlist!

It’s that time of the year again and the perfect time to start creating your ultimate playlist for the summertime. There are so many options and so many different artists, but this article only narrows it down to the basics.

Artists

Frank Ocean

Frank Ocean has a great discography filled with multiple hits for your summer playlist. First releasing channel ORANGE in 2012, he has since released one other full album titled Blonde. Some of his most popular tracks that would be perfect for your playlist include “Pink+White”, “Lost”, and “Ivy”. Some of his less popular songs like “Super Rich Kids” and “Thinkin’ Bout You” are perfect to put on your playlist.

 

Bob Marley

Bob Marley was a global icon, being an iconic figure in reggae. He and his impressive band, the Wailers voiced struggles of the Jamaican experience. Some of his most popular songs are “Three Little Birds” and “Could You Be Loved”. “Jamming”, “Sun Is Shining” and “Buffalo Soldier” are not as popular but are just as good. 

Sun Room

Sun Room is a smaller band from Southern California. All of their songs have a beachy vibe and are perfect for the summertime. Some of their songs like “Sol Del Sur”, “Summer’s Here”, “I Want You” and “Just Yesterday” are perfect starters and perfect additions to your playlist.

Harry Styles

Harry Styles is a popular artist known not just for being in the global hit boy band One Direction, but also for his widely successful solo career. His whole discography includes 3 albums. Some of his greatest hits perfect for summer are “Adored You”, and “As It Was”. Some of his less-known songs like “Cinema”, “Keep Driving”, “Daylight”, and “Sunflower, Vol.6” are also great for summer.

“Mama Mia!” is a movie based on the Broadway musical. The soundtrack is filled with multiple songs originally written and sung by ABBA. Filled with hits like “Dancing Queen”, “Super Trouper” and “Money, Money, Money” you can be sure to stand up and dance. The movie is super beachy and has the perfect summer vibe to it.

 

Harry’s House

Harry’s House has multiple hits for the summer. This is jam-packed with multiple summer bops like “Keep Driving”, “Daylight”, “Late Night Talking”, and of course the song that took over 2022, “As It Was”. This album is arguably Harry Style’s most popular of his discography. 

 

Lover

Written by Taylor Swift, Lover was released in 2019. The hits “Cruel Summer” and “Lover” are in this album, but there are many more perfect options for your playlist. “The Man”, “Paper Rings” and “London Boy” along with the rest of the album is a fun, feel-good album for the summer. 

 

Blonde

Blonde is one of Frank Ocean’s two albums. His song “Pink+White” is on this album along with 16 other tracks. All songs on this album are filled with catchy lyrics and songs you can sing along to. Blonde is a great album filled with songs like “Nikes”, “Ivy”, “White Ferrari” and much more.
