Mario Vs. Sonic, Who’s better?

Hey my paly mc pal pals, how’s it going? So I was just thinking about stuff and I had a question, what’s better: Mario or Sonic? Now before I say anything else, I have to say, THIS IS JUST WHAT I THINK, WHATEVER I THINK IS BETTER DOESN’T MEAN YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT. Ok with that out of my way, I think Sonic’s better Story wise, but Mario has the better games. I’ll be ratting both out of 3 things, Games, Stories, and Music.

First, I should explain what Mario and Sonic are just in case you don’t know. Sonic is about a human-like hedgehog who is the fastest thing alive and stops Dr. Eggman’s Evil plans with his friends. Mario is about an Italian plumber who saves Princess Peach and stops Bowser. Mario and Sonic have met before in the spinoff series, Mario & Sonic at The Olympic Games.

Now for the first real part, Who has better games, Mario or Sonic? Well first let’s talk about the games. Sonic’s games are fast paced platformers. Mario’s games are slower paced platformers. I really like Sonic’s fast paced gameplay style and all the different paths you can take, I just think it’s really fun to play and the ways they add onto it with the new games is fun. When they try to mix speed with platforming it can get a little…anyoying and sometimes the games are…just half baked, like Sonic 06. For Mario I think the gameplay works, they know how to make a good platformer, they just don’t use it to the fullest. I believe that Mario wins in the gameplay part. His games are just consistent.

So my next point is about the stories of the games. I’m just gonna cut to the chase. Sonic has MUCH better stories. Mario really just does the same story of saving Princess Peach, sure they change it up sometimes but not really. Sonic has changed their story, sure Eggman is usually the main Villain but they always add some new thing to the story like, The Time Eater, Dark and Light Gaia, Shadow, Neo Metal Sonic, etc… Mario does add sometimes but mainly keeps it the same. Here’s some of what they’ve added, Bowser Jr, The Koopalings and uh…I can’t think of anything else. So Yeah Sonic wins this one! So the points right now are Sonic 1 and Mario also has 1! Who will win it all?!

Alright now it’s down to the tiebreaker, who has the better music? It’s Sonic again and it’s not even close. First, a Sonic game could have the worst story and the worst gameplay ever, and the music would still sound GREAT! Some good music from Sonic includes: Live and Learn, City Escape, All of the Sonic Mania soundtrack, Super Sonic Racing, Can you feel the sunshine, Undefeatable, Sonic Boom I am all of me, and SO many more! Mario does have good sound tracks, I recommend the Mario Galaxy Soundtrack myself, but Sonic just blows it out of the water and past the Moon! So in the end, Sonic won!
