Martin Luther King Jr Life And Achievements
Martin Luther King Jr or also called MLK was born in 1929 where racial discrimination of African American descendants was common in the United States at the time. By 1955 he had enough of segregation. He decided to try to change people’s views towards people of color by becoming a civil rights activist. He did boycotts and protests without a person getting harmed. He also led marches for the right to vote and other civil rights. He has been arrested multiple times but he never gave up. In 1963, MLK gave one of the most well known speeches “I Have a Dream” in which he spoke about how we should end legalized racism and how we should look at different perspectives. Later in 1968 he was assassinated which caused many riots to start. Thanks to MLK many peoples lives were saved back then and now.
