In November, we unload buckets of fruits, vegetables, and so much more! But what are these delicious foods? And what can you make with them?
Fruits:

Fruit is delicious! But what is ready for this season? Ready for picking, there are pomegranates, persimmons, cranberries, pears, apples, and prickly pears! Some of these fruits are a mystery for some of us, so let me introduce you to the uncommon!
Permissions are tomato-looking fruits but secretly a sweet treat, sometimes described as having a combination of honey, apricot, and a cinnamon taste.

Pomegranates are a delicious and crunchy snack! They have plenty of seeds with sweet, juicy goodness surrounding them.

Prickly pears are from the nopales cactus and have a watermelon taste.

Now that we learned about some of the uncommon in-harvest fruits, what can we make with these tasty treats? Well, we can create jam, juice, cookies, and so much more!
Vegetables:

I do understand that some people do not like vegetables. However, read these and you might just want to try them! Ready this season, we have brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, turnips, parsnips, beets, squash, kale, and a bunch more! Get it? Bunch… Nevermind.
Again, some might be thinking: “What are Brussels sprouts?!” or “What is kale?!” Well, lucky you, I’m here! Brussels sprouts look like mini cabbages. They taste either bitter, sweet, or nutty, depending on your taste buds.

Then turnips are tiny-looking apples from the ground. They are bitter when raw, but when mature (picked when ready), they can be a delicious, sweet, and a nutty flavored treat.

Kale is a hard, leafy vegetable that grows upright on stems. Kale tastes bitter, grassy, and peppery with a wonderful crunch.

And then finally, beets. Beets grow underground; they are a rooted veggie, and when you cut them open, the main color is red, but some can be golden or striped like candy canes! They taste sweet and earthy, different from the usual bitter tastes from the vegetables named above.

Now that we’ve discussed the elephants in the room, what can we make with these vegetables? Well, you can make roasted Brussels sprouts, soups, salads, and so much more!
