Daylight Saving Time is when the day either grows shorter or longer. For some people, this is a living nightmare. For others, it is tolerable or enjoyable. Well, it’s ending (for now)! As the end approaches, what will happen? How will people react?

The morning of November 2nd came , but there was no sun. You fell back one hour, so you get an extra hour of sleep! But wait, how does this work? Well, when the end of fall comes, you “fall back”. This means if you originally awakened at 6 A.M., you would’ve awakened at 5 A.M. When you “spring forward”, you lose an hour. So if it was originally 5 A.M., it would now be 6. Strange, right?
Well, thankfully, we are falling back! So, we get an extra hour of sleep. By the way, did you know we spend about 26 years sleeping throughout our entire life? That’s about ⅓ of someone’s life!
Like I mentioned before, some people dislike this, and some love it! But what are the reactions? Well, some might have an outburst of sleeping in too late, or the sky being too dark, so it’s harder to tell. Some might say, “What wonderful weather for a walk!” and keep enjoying their day. As you can see, reactions are very different.
But what are some of the outcomes of this cycle?
Some consequences or outcomes of Daylight Savings Time are heart attacks, strokes, and traffic incidents. These are the bad consequences, as we know, but what about the good? Well, positive outcomes are energy gain, increased outdoor activity, and lower crime rates!
