End Of 2025 Meme Update

It’s the end of the year and there are so many new memes to talk about, and this article will explain some new memes and even the revival of an old meme. This article has 3 memes in it so here they are.

• Chicken Stars

  

This meme is a fairly new one from the movie Leo from 2023. It involves a 5th grader named Cole who is singing about his last year in elementary school and wants to make his last year count. He says “I’m gonna go out swinging. Toy soldiers, dipping dots, fun size bars. Slip ‘n slides, fart noises, chicken stars.” This is often used with AI to make funnier versions of it.

• My Collars Blue But My Neck is Red

  

This meme originated from a song called “Blue Collar” by J. Johnson. This meme involves Spongebob in a construction worker or blue collar worker outfit while a song plays in the background and says, “My collar’s blue but my neck is red. Been working like a dog just to keep my family fed.” There is a very popular version of this meme where a text says “The teacher is always targeting me” with a wilted rose emoji afterwards and a very detailed drawing of Spongebob in said construction outfit.

MLG Revival

MLG was a meme from the early 2010’s and involves flashing colors, Call of Duty hit markers, doge, 360 no scopes, Shrek, a poorly drawn version of Sonic the Hedgehog called Sanic, the illuminati symbol, and much more. It usually is used with a horn in the background and is used when someone does something insane in a game like winning a 1-v-4 or hitting a cool move. The acronym, MLG actually stands for Major League Gaming and was usually looked down upon by people as the player who participated had no life.
