Let’s Talk Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl is coming up! That’s right, and this year the annual American Football Championships are between the Chiefs and Eagles. If you want to hear about this upcoming battle, keep reading! 

Experts’ Opinion on Chiefs Season Stats.

So far, the Chiefs have a two-year streak of winning the Superbowl. They are led by Andy Reid. Known for their strong offense, and dominant defense, many experts have leaned towards the Chiefs believing they will take the 2025 Super Bowl. This season, the Chiefs have been winning many close games leading to many predictions of a tight game. The Chiefs have run 600 attempts (an attempt can either be a rushing attempt or a passing attempt), and 404 passing completions leading to a 67.3 pass completion percentage, with an average of 6.7 yards gained per attempt. The Chiefs have racked up 26 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions this season.  

Expert opinions on Eagles.

The Eagles have won one Super Bowl, and are led by Nick Sirianni, and so far experts have not been siding with the Eagles in fact many have leaned towards the Chief, although some do believe the Eagles will take the Superbowl. The Eagles are known to have the best defense holding the top defensive spot in the NFL. When looking at stats the Eagles have racked up 448 attempts, and 303 passing completions creating a 67.6 passing completion percentage. The Eagles have gained an average of 7.8 yards gained per attempt, as well as earning a total of 24 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. 

Where is it?

This year the 2025 Super Bowl will be held inside the Cesar Superdome located in New Orleans. The Super Bowl will be held on February 9th, 2025. The Cesar Superdome has hosted 7 Super Bowls expecting this upcoming one to be its 8th. Built in 1971, the Super Bowl is said to be 54 years old and holds a story. In 2005 this Superdome housed and protected thousands of people in need of shelter during Hurricane Katrina. Due to the storm’s intensity, the Superdome was closed for months afterward. Once the stadium was refurbished and reopened, it held the 2006 Saints home opener and has been open since. 

Halftime: This year the Halftime show will be led by Kendrick Lamar and guest performer SZA. Kendrick Lamar is known for his Hip Hop, and Rap music. Kendrik has been selected for 57 Grammys and has won 17. Kendrick Lamar and SZA have created an Academy Award for best original song in 2019 called, “All the Stars.” which many are expecting to see live during halftime. 

Super Bowl History. 

The Super Bowl dates back to 1967 and was hosted by the NFL (National Football League). Rivaling Football leagues decided they should have an end-of-the-season game. The Championships. The game was between the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas Chiefs.  The Packers took the game 35-10, this was the first Super Bowl game. The NFL was not always the top place to watch American football. It took many rivals, and competition to become the strongest football league today.
