Every once in a while, you hear about terrorist attacks on the news. These are normally small things and don’t have huge effects on others. But around New Year’s Eve, a series of large attacks throughout the country took place and killed and injured many civilians.
Bourbon Street, New Orleans

Around 3 am on New Year’s Day, a white truck blew through a crowd of hundreds of people, all celebrating the new year. The driver drove through, engaged in gunfire with the police, and was then shot and killed. This killed 14 individuals and injured 35 others. Shadsud-Din Jabbar, the terrorist, was a part of ISIS (The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria), which was his motivation for the attack. It was also said that he had explosives in his truck, and allegedly there were bombs placed around New Orleans.
Tesla Cybertruck
On New Year’s Day sometime in the morning, a cybertruck exploded right outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas causing casualties. Special forces master Sgt. Matthew Livelsberger looked into the amount of explosives he would need reportedly using chat GPT to plan his attack and figure out the information he’d need to carry it out. He allegedly drove over 800 miles from Colorado to carry out the attack. Sources say that he left a note saying “This was not a terrorist attack but a wake-up call”
Terrorist Plane Crashes
Over a series of multiple weeks, many terrorist plane crashes occurred. One specific one was when a plane crashed through a building in Fullerton, California, killing 2 and injuring 19. This happened on January 2nd, the same week as the other attacks nationwide.
Those are just some of the recent attacks. Have you heard about any of these? Leave a comment!

It’s scary but cool. Who is the main target of all of these things?

I think it’s less about who its specifically hurting, but the chaos of these attacks and the after math.
