First up is Almond joy, although surprising given that it was the most favorited candies in both Alaska and Wyoming, it has a dislike rate of 16.7%. In 6th place we have Peeps (obviously Halloween edition) with 21.5% of people that hate receiving that particular type of candy. Next to step up on that wretched list of dissatisfaction is Bit-o-Honey because 21.6% of people sent him running back home! After Bit-o-honey is Jawbreakers with 21.7% of people granted a thumbs down for this strain of candy. The candy that receives our bronze metal of the most loathed candy goes to our one and only Atomic Fireball with 23.9% of our people saying that this candy gives them the ick! Our silver metal that is bestowed upon the 2nd most hated Halloween candy is Hot Tamales with 26.1% revealing how much they despise this Halloween Candy! Lastly, winning our Gold medal for the most abominable candy ever, the infamous, the rotten… Candy Corn with a whopping 36% of people that did not want this candy ordered on their Halloween candy spree!
On the other hand, let’s take a look at the top three favorite candies and an in depth description of each one!
#3 Reese’s Take 5 – 5 IN ONE? Yes please! Get a load of this savory, creamy, peanut butter plaza! A cinematic piece that starts in 5…4…3…2…1! 5 mouthwatering components to make a masterpiece of a dessert! Pretzels add the perfect taste of that salty crunch to a sweet treat! What could make a chocolate covered peanut buttery, pretzel filled delicacy better? Most definitely a chocolate covered peanut buttery, pretzel filled, gooey caramel take over! And what makes a chocolate covered peanut buttery, pretzel filled, gooey caramel take over better? Obviously a chocolate covered peanut buttery, pretzel filled, gooey caramel take over, with a touch salty peanuts to compliment our smooth peanut butter luxuriousness! This bar would do more than suffice my yearning for a sweet, yet salty goodie with a crunch! Ahhh… all the magic in one! Reece’s Take 5 definitely satisfied my cravings!
#2 Twix – A caramel infested, chocolaty goodness! A classic, yet it never stops to surprise us every time! Why choose between caramel, a scrumptious cookie, and some chocolatey chocolate when you can have all three! Call it a Chrocamel! Truly a ride of many emotions. It’s a stroll through the mystical forest of wonders! Creamy layers of chocolate on the outside and on the inside there’s a jackpot with the crunchiness of a shortbread biscuit added to a stampede of caramel! It’s overflowing your taste buds with its rich flavors! A delectable treat indeed. You deserve it! I’m gonna take a break, pass me a Twix!
#1 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups – This is a peanut butter sensation! You feel the shape of the butter cup and feel the bumps along the sides of the chocolate glazed, peanut butter filled, treat as you trail your finger around the chocolate coat. A mouth-watering bite of the soft and grainy pieces of peanuts that sink perfectly into the peanut butter. When the savory and heavy bite-sized cups hit the top of your teeth and you sink in, you are hit with the creamy, perfect amount of that layer of chocolate. You hit the mouthful of not just peanut butter, but a roller coaster through life and events!
