Mamma Mia starts with a mother and daughter living in Greece at a hotel that Donna (the mother) rebuilt when she was a teenager, however, the hotel kept falling apart. Sophie, (the daughter) invites her two best friends to the hotel for her wedding. While waiting for them to arrive she finds her mother’s diary from when she was a teenager. She looks through it and sees that her mother had 3 boyfriends in a short period. Sophie never knew her father and grew up without one. Sophie finds out one of those three men would be her father. So she invites them to her wedding without telling her mom about it.
Mamma Mia, Here We Go Again, is the second movie. This movie is 5 years later than the first one. Sophie’s boyfriend (sky) was in New York while Sophie was at the hotel in Greece. Donna died after the first movie so Sophie now owned the hotel. She had redone the hotel so it was really put together and very beautiful. They do a reopening of the hotel and invite everyone. They set everything up until a really bad storm hit and ruined everything. They didn’t let that stop them because the party was in honor of Donna. They set everything back up and have the party. At the party Sophie feels sick, she then realizes she is pregnant.
Mamma Mia is a very loved movie and has very talented actors. The main actors of the movie got paid around $3 million dollars per movie. These movies have a lot of crazy plot twists, which makes the movies better.
Sophie never finds out who her father is but treats them all like they are. This is a very inspiring movie because it shows you should always treat people with kindness.
