Activities To Do On Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is one of those few times a year when families come together and spend time together not just at the dinner table, but throughout the day. While food is definitely important, it doesn’t have to be the only highlight of your thanksgiving. Here are six or seven Thanksgiving themed activities that are extremely fun to do while also spending time with your friends and family.

Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest
A Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest is a great way to compete with your family. The competition must take place outside on a large table. Each participating family member must have a pie and some water. To make the challenge even sillier, if you want, you can take away everyone’s silverware and see who truly has the sweetest tooth of them all! In the end, whoever has eaten the most pie is the winner!

Mini Pumpkin Hunt
In this game, small pumpkins are hidden around the house or the backyard, some filled with candy, jokes, and other small surprises to make the game more exciting. Players can search in teams or alone and their goal is to find as many pumpkins as they can within a certain amount of time. In the end, whoever has the most amount of pumpkins is the winner!

Pin The Gobbler On The Turkey
Pin the gobbler on the turkey is a fun activity in which players are blindfolded and spun around before trying to pin a paper gobbler onto a poster of a turkey taped on the wall. The goal of the game is to place the gobbler as close to the correct spot on the turkey’s neck as possible. It is a perfect activity to have an immense amount of fun!

Turkey Bowling
Turkey bowling is a goofy activity that is usually played around Thanksgiving, where a frozen turkey is used as a bowling ball to knock down pins, usually made from empty soda cans or similar items. It often takes place in driveways or garages and can be played with friends and family. It’s messy, weird, and hilarious! Which makes it a totally new and different activity to do during the holidays.

Turkey Bowl
A Turkey Bowl is basically the same thing as Flag Football, but is played on Thanksgiving with your family and friends. Usually, small teams of six to seven players compete in a backyard, park, or an open field and instead of tackling, the players wear flags and the defense pulls them to get the player out. The teams take turns on Offense and Defense, and will try to score touchdowns by running or passing the ball into the End Zone. It’s all about having fun, working as a team, and enjoying the Holiday together.
I hope that this article is helpful and that you will try some of these activities! Have a delicious Thanksgiving!
