Many people have heard of the recent L.A. fires that have destroyed many landmarks and homes. From celebrities to animals, homes are being tragically destroyed.

Palisades (January 7) As of 1/24, 23,448 acres, 77% containment, 11 Civilian Fatalities 

Eaton (January 7)As of 1/27, 14,021 acres, 98% containment

Sunset fire (January 8) 43 acres, 100% containment

Hurst (January 7) 799 acres, 100% containment

Kenneth  (January 9) 1,052 acres, 100% containment

Woodley fire (January 8) 30 acres, 100% containment

The FireAid Concert

On January 30th, the Fire Aid benefit concert was held in the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome in support of the tragedy of the LA fires. Featuring artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Lady Gaga, Stevie Nicks, Stevie Wonder, Billie Eilish, and much more! 100% of all proceeds are going to help the LA fires. 

Palisades Fire

The Palisades fire was the biggest of all the fires and by far the most devastating. Covering 23,448 acres, this fire tragically burned down so many people’s places they call home and sadly took the lives of 11 civilians. The Palisades is located near Malibu. 

What started it (Investigation) 

As some may have noticed these fires seemed to start right after each other. There are many theories as to why and how. Was it Arson? Or could it be a Wildfire? Was it an accident? There’s not much to tell as most of these are still ongoing.
