“You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch!” Mr. Grinch is one of the most famous Christmas characters known to humanity. He originally came from Dr. Suses’ book “ How the Grinch Stole Christmas”and later became famous from the movies about him. But this “foul one” has some tricks up his sleeve—not just gadgets to steal your Christmas tree, but some secret facts that you probably didn’t know! Here are six facts about the Grinch!!

1. In Dr. Seuss’s original book, the Grinch was black and white with pink eyes, but the movie producer decided to change him to green.

2. The actor who voiced the cartoon Frankenstein voiced the Grinch! They chose him because his voice was perfect, moderate, and not too scary. 

2. Did you know Max isn’t a boy! Or at least the actor for him. In the movie, Max was played by a female dog named Kelly. What a good girl!

4. The actor Jim Carry spent 92 days acting as the Grinch. But it took about 2 hours to put the makeup on and 1 hour to take it off! 

5. Tony the Tiger is a famous cereal icon, but did you know he sang the theme song for the 1996 Grinch Movie? Who knew he had such a good voice?

7. Last but not least, my favorite fact. Did you know Florida upside down looks like the Grinch!
