Have you heard about a new species that was brought back to life by science? The Dire Wolf is the first species to be reintroduced to Earth. The three new direwolves are named Remus, Romulus, and Khaleesi. Although they aren’t 100% Dire Wolves, they resemble Dire Wolves, act like Dire Wolves and are sort-of like Dire Wolves. However, they aren’t Dire Wolves. In fact, they’re just Grey Wolves with similar traits to Dire Wolves. The dire wolves are set to be 6 feet long. This is impressive when the average Grey wolf is only 3 feet long! The dire wolves that were made by Colossal Biosciences cost ten billion dollars!

Colossal, the company that has made these “Dire Wolves”, created a Wooly Mouse as well and are soon planning on resurrecting Wooly Mammoths, Tasmanian tigers, and dodos. They don’t plan on making dinosaurs though. The reason being is because the DNA starts to rip and eradicate, making it too hard for scientists to resurrect dinosaurs.
Although these “Dire Wolves” seem cool, they have been receiving insane backlash, because people have been saying it might interfere with our environment. This is reasonable because scientists have been saying there will be “unintended consequences”. Well, what do you think? Leave a comment!
