What Sweet Treat Should You Try This Season Based On Your Favorite Christmas Movie?
We all love Christmas movies, either because of their fun characters or the seasonal prompt and setting it has. But I’m sure all of our favorite movie characters have favoriteChristmas treats! Stick around to see what festive treat you should try during this holiday season!
Frosty the Snowman
If your favorite Christmas movie is Frosty the Snowman you should enjoy some delicious sweets shaped like Christmas trees, Santa, or sugar cookies! This is because just like Frosty’s famous line:
“I’ll be back someday!”
Every year like clockwork, everyone preheats their ovens and puts on their oven mitts to enjoy the trusty treat that every year people continue to love even more!
Die Hard
If your favorite Christmas movie is Die Hard, you should bundle up next to the fireplace and watch this action-packed movie with a nice glass of piping hot, hot cocoa! The reason you should do this is because just like Die Hard, a glass of hot cocoa has all of the same exciting twists and turns. Everyone makes hot cocoa differently, some with marshmallows, some with whipped cream, or with both! Depending on how long ago you made your hot cocoa, you never know if you’ll get a piping hot sip that burns your tongue, or if it will be iced cold.
Elf
If your favorite Christmas movie is Elf you should try Buddy the Elf’s food groups or diet of Candy, Candy Canes, Candy Corns, and Syrup! These sugar-filled foods will definitely get you in the holiday spirit while you watch Buddy venture into New York City in hopes of finding his Dad. (Or that might be a sugar high!)
Home Alone 1
Home Alone is a classic Christmas movie, where Kevin is left behind by his family while they go to France for Christmas! If this is your favorite Christmas movie, you should try to build and eat a gingerbread house this holiday season. Just like a gingerbread house, when the robbers break into Kevin’s family home it gets pretty messy but eventually at the end, you get a happy ending! In your case, a delicious festive gingerbread house. Kevins is safe and reunited with his family!
How the Grinch stole Christmas
If your favorite Christmas movie is How the Grinch Stole Christmas, you should try a lemon strawberry cake this season. We all know The Grinch is sour at first just l a lemon. Hating on Whoville and their Christmas traditions. But after seeing how sad everyone was once he did what he did, he realized that Christmas isn’t so bad and his heart grew three sizes. Since the Grinch is also sweet not just sour, that is why we have a strawberry in between the lemon. You have a sweet, delicious break in between the sour levels.
A Christmas Story
If your favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story you should try a chocolate tart this season. This is because, just like Ralphie’s illusion that a gun would be a good Christmas gift, most people think that a tart (not minding the name) is a sweet creamy dessert. You got the creamy part right but (minding the name ) it is a very tart dessert. But unlike in Ralphie’s case where a gun was a bad idea, a tart is a delicious holiday treat that everybody can enjoy!
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
If your favorite Christmas movie is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, then you should try a fruit cake this holiday season. This is because depending on how you make it, parts of it are red just like Ruldoph’s nose! Just what all the other reindeers did to Rudolph, fruit cake is usually ignored or called disgusting. But to most people, it is treated like how Rudolph is at the end, being praised for saving Christmas! A fruitcake can do the same thing, because it is delicious, festive, and easy to make!
Christmas Vacation
If your favorite Christmas movie is Christmas Vacation you should try sticky toffee pudding! This is because, just like Chris Griswold in Christmas Vacation, he is a professional when he has to go to work( just the toffee itself), but gets tangled up in doing many jobs to prepare for Christmas while his chaotic family makes life around Christmas stressful, messy, and fun!Inthe end, they have an amazing Christmas!
Merry Christmas Charlie Brown
If your favorite Christmas movie is Merry Christmas Charlie Brown you should try a seven-layer cookie! This is because just like one of the main characters Linus, he has many sides ( or layers if you’re talking about the cookie) ! He is usually shy and sticks to Charlie Brown 24/7, but when Christmas time comes, he jumps through hoops and ladders to make sure that the Christmas play is perfect, and Charlie Brown, in the end, has a good Christmas! Just like in this movie, in the beginning, you think everything will be wrong and they’ll have a terrible Christmas.( Just how you think the cookie would be crunchy.) But in the end, they have an ooey gooey, sweet ending. (This is how the cookie is!)
Daddy’s Home 2
If your favorite Christmas movie is Daddy’s home 2, then this very sweet season, you should try a black and white cookie! This is because a black and white cookie represents yin and yang or opposites just likeDusty and Brad in Daddy’s Home 2 are opposites! Brad is a vanilla goody- two shoes, and Dusty wears a leather jacket and does dangerous stuff, such as skateboarding and riding a motorcycle! They are opposites!
That’s the end! There are a wide variety of Christmas movies and Christmas sweets. Did you find your favorite Christmas movie or favorite holiday treat? Are you going to try any of these sweet treats this holiday season? Comment below!
