Hot Cheetos vs. Takis

Hot Cheetos and Takis are two of the most popular spicy chips in the United States, but which is better? 

Hot Cheetos

Hot Cheetos were invented by Richard Montanez in 1989 after a Cheeto machine broke down. Richard spiced them up a bit and Hot Cheetos were invented. Although they were invented in 1989 they weren’t released to the public until 1991. Since then they have been one of the most popular chips.

 

Takis 

Takis were invented by Morgan Sanchez in 1999 but weren’t introduced in America until 2004. A company called Barcel invented takis and since then they have come out with many more flavors. Such as Crunchy Fajita, Wild, Guacamole, Nitro, Blue Heat, Fuego, and many more!

Hot Cheetos:
