As middle schoolers get promoted to high school, there are a variety of sports you can do. One of the sports both boys and girls can do is lacrosse. But what is lacrosse? Lacrosse is a sport that involves precision and teamwork. The game’s goal is to get the ball to the goal using a stick with a net on the opposite side of the field.
Boys Lacrosse:
There are a total of 10 teammates on the team, including the goalie. Three defensive players, three offensive players, and three middies. Middies are the people allowed to cross the field without a penalty. Each player is matched up with another player from the other team. As the game starts, the players have to work together to block and run the ball to the goal. The game has four quarters that are between 10-12 minutes long. Boys lacrosse is a high contact sport.
