Music can be different for everyone it can be a stress reliever, a way to connect to other people, it can affect our emotions. , Etc… Everyone has their favorite music artists that belong to their genre of music. There are many types of genres all around the world.
Music can date back to 40,000 years ago starting with Neanderthals and our ancestors. It has developed a lot over time branching into one 300 genres worldwide! The most popular genres include Hip hop, pop, rnb, country, rap, rock, etc. But the most popular are pop and rap so let’s hear some of their history.
Pop originated in the 1950s to attract teens. It then developed to have a much larger audience and age range; given the fact that some of the most popular artists in the world are in the pop genre. Some artists who are at the top of the pot charts are Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Benson Boone, Tate McRae, and Chappell Roan.
Rap has been around since the 1970s and was a way to indicate racial injustice and to tell a story over the years. There have been many modifications.
