“Candy Corn was modeled after corn in shape, but not taste. The actual flavor of Jelly Belly’s (formerly known by the family name, Goelitz) Candy Corn is a wonderful blend of creamy fondant, rich marshmallow, and warm vanilla notes. When combined, these flavors create the distinct Candy Corn flavor. It’s actually made up of several ingredients, including sugar, corn syrup, confectioner’s glaze, salt, dextrose, gelatin, sesame oil, artificial flavor, honey, yellow 6, yellow 5, and red 3. It also contains gelatin, a protein made from animal parts like hides and bones. The tri-colored confection was designed to look like chicken feed and came out at a time when about half of Americans worked on farms. Whether you like it, hate it or just use it to decorate, you probably think of candy corn as a Halloween treatment candy corn corn is essentially empty calories and added sugar. The American Heart Association recommends limiting added sugars to no more than 6% of the calories you consume each day. For most females, that’s no more than 100 calories per day, or about 25 grams. For males, it’s 150 calories per day, or about 36 grams.

I like candy corn with all my heart, but hearing that it has animal bones in it makes me mad. I’m going to stop eating candy corn. Poor animals. I also don’t eat cows and this could have cow bones in it!

I’m vegetarian and I can’t eat gelatin, which is made of crushed bones of cows and horses. Candy corn has gelatin, so I can’t eat it. Finally someone else knows what else goes into making candy!

First of all, candy corn is absolutely terrible.
Secondly, why would they use crushed-up animal bones in candy.
