Most of us have a little extra time on our hands during the summer. So why not spend it trying to make someone’s or maybe your own day brighter? What are the most fun ways to do it? Well, look no further because this article has some of the best ways to spread kindness! 

Kindness Rocks


Kindness rocks are an easy and fun way to spread kindness in the community. To make this fun craft you just need a clean rock and paint! Kindness rocks can be whatever you want it to look like but it should include a kind quote to brighten someone’s day! After you’re done painting, you can put them around town! 

 

Encouraging Chalk Art

This is a great way to get outside and hang out with friends! Along with being a fun outdoor activity, if you put encouraging words and drawings you could possibly give someone a smile. You can buy chalk from a store near you ( Walmart, Target etc).

 

Make a Bird Feeder

Making a bird feeder can be a fun craft to do in the summer. Along with being fun, it also feeds birds and could make their life a little easier. Here is an easy way to make a homemade bird feeder with a recycled plastic water bottle.

 

Pick Up Trash Around Your Neighborhood

Whenever you have extra time you can always go outside and pick up trash around your neighborhood or even the oceans. Not only is it a great way to help the environment, but you can also have friends help to speed up the process. Make sure to bring gloves and a trash bag!

 

Send Somebody A Letter

Now a days we all just send a text message or an email to get in contact with someone.  Letters are a fun way that you can give somebody a smile because we don’t usually receive them that often.It doesn’t have to be too crazy, just a simple note is perfect! Make sure to address it and then you can drop it off at a post office.
