What is Science Olympiad?
Science Olympiad is an elective at TMS. Students spent their 1st period class this whole school year getting ready for their events. On March 15th, students went to Ettiwanda High School to compete in 23 different competitions, or events. The best performing teams would advance to state. TMS had two teams competing against all the teams in Inland Empire. Mrs. Kocaya coached them.

Did TMS win?
While TMS did not advance to the state competition, they did get medals in an impressive 10 events. For the first ever Temecula Middle Science Olympiad team, that is really impressive. TMS team 1 got 6th place overall, only 1 place away from the requirement to go to the state competition.
