One of the many Electives at TMS is Choir. Choir has many variations, such as beginning, mixed, and treble Choir. Treble Choir is wonderful in many ways: It’s a great way to make friends, there are no boys for a whole period, and you have an amazing teacher to guide and help your singing! So, let’s shine a spotlight on the great singers and students of Treble Choir!
-What is your favorite part of being in Treble Choir?
7th grader Ava Siddall said, “It’s really fun because there are no boys and sometimes guys can be really annoying.”
7th grader Tatum Zema, “Probably hanging out with friends, and no boys.”
7th grader Avonlea Humphrey, “I like hanging out with friends and I like that there are no boys in class.”
7th grader Ariella Riley, “I like doing the singing and the dancing and that there are no boys.”
7th grader Faith Hillenbrand, “That there are no boys, and you get to hang out with friends while singing and dancing.”
-Why did you join Treble Choir?
Ava Siddal, “I joined because it seemed fun.”
Tatum Zema, “It sounded fun and all my friends were joining.”
Avonlea Humphery, “I joined because I like singing and there were a lot of my friends there.”
Ariella Riley, “I joined because I like singing, and literally all my friends are there.”
Faith Hillenbrand, “All my friends joined and I like singing.”
-What is your favorite thing about Mrs. Mewes?
Ava Siddal, “She’s very nice.”
Tatum Zema, “I’ve known her for a long time and she’s nice.’
Avonlea Humphery, “She’s very free with what we do in Choir and she’s nice.”
Ariella Riley, “I like that she expresses herself, and she’s very funny, and she’s really sweet.”
Faith Hillenbrand, “She’s very energetic, and fun, and funny.”
-Are you going to be in Treble Choir next year?
Ava Siddal, “I don’t know, I’m still deciding what I want to do.”
Tatum Zema, “Yeah, if I’m not in ASB.”
Avonlea Humphery, “Yes.”
Ariella Riley, “Maybe, because I might want to try something new.”
Faith Hillenbrand, “Maybe, I don’t know because I might want to try something else.”
Out of all the choir variations, treble has to be the best! You can sing, dance, and have fun with all your classmates. It really is a great way to spend your elective and even make new friends. Leave a comment and share your experience in treble Choir!
