How to balance schoolwork and social life in Middle School

Balancing friends and schoolwork is an essential yet difficult thing everyone deals with in middle school. Here are some tips!

Organization is Key!

Organization is essential, whether it is planning your day or rearranging your workspace. There are many things you can do to help organize, one, possibly the most important one, is a planner. A planner can help you organize your day or week, especially when to do stuff like schoolwork. It is great to have a planner to remind yourself when an assignment is due or what you have to do for the day. It can also help you plan activities with your friends! Good local options are Target and Walmart and if you want to order online, Amazon is also a liable option. If you want to splurge on a good planner, Papier has fun and cute planners.

Focus on Schoolwork

As a student, it is important to get schoolwork done and to study. While it is hard, to do this you must focus only on what needs to be done. Hanging out with friends, while it is fun, should not be your priority. If you can work better with people, start a study group with your friends. That way you can see your friends while doing something productive.

Communicate

It is important to let people around you know about your schoolwork or goals. Talking to people about your goal can cause people around you to help make those goals a reality. They can do things like help you study or plan your day out.

Everyone enjoys their free time and seeing friends, but it is always important to take care of schoolwork too. Finding a good balance in between is really important.

You could have a designated study day where you have to study for at least 30 minutes for each class, and if someone ask you to hang out on the day you could just reschedule, nice article
